Register
Placing an order from the AAR Corp. General Aviation online ordering application is a simple process. The first step is to
register. This process involves filling out a brief online form and agreeing to our online Terms and Conditions. Once you
have completed this process, you will be assigned an AAR Corp. General Aviation User Name and Password.
Log In
Enter your User Name and Password in the fields on the
AAR Corp. General Aviation home page and then click the "Log In
Now!" button. You are now logged in.
Search the Parts Database
After logging in, the next screen you will see is the Database Search page. From this page you can search by any combination of the four fields that appear in the red bar at the top of the page. The only restriction in the search is that either a part number or at least one keyword for the description must be entered.
Search Fields
- Part Number - In this field you can enter in either a complete part number or a partial part number. For instance if you entered in 1234 as the part number; part number 12345 will show up as a near match.
- Description - In the description field you can enter in 1 to 5 key-words that would be part of a parts description. Words that contain other words will also return a record. For instance if you enter in the key-word WING; any parts with the word SWING in the description will appear in the near match listing.
- ATA Code - The ATA Code is an optional field. You may select an ATA code from the drop-down list in order to narrow down the number of parts returned from your search request.
- Product Group - The Product Group is an optional field. You may select a Product Group from the drop-down list only after you have chosen an ATA Code.
Select Part(s)
Exact Part # Matches
The details for your requested part will be displayed on the next screen.
The information displayed includes:
- Part # - Manufacturer part number.
- FSC - Federal Supplier Code
- Description - A brief description of the corresponding part. (Note:
some descriptions in the database may be inaccurate. Always check the
Part # and FSC for the part you are ordering.)
- Qty. In Stock - Indicates how many units are available for sale.
- Unit of Measure - This is the basis for determining the quantity in stock.
- List Price - This is the list price for the select part.
- Your Price - This is your AAR Distribution price.
- Order Qty. - This is where you enter the quantity that you would like to order.
Near Matches
The search results screen also provides you with a listing of near matches
to your requested part number. These are located in the Summary of Near
Matches table on the lower portion of the page. To view more details for
any of these parts, click on the part number. The new part number will
now be featured in the Part Details table (top of page).
If you would like to start a new search, use the search field at the top of the page.
To order any of the items in the Part Details table, type a quantity in
the Order Quantity field. (Be sure that you are not ordering more than
we have in stock.) Then click the Add to Order button to make sure that
the quantity is recorded.
Review Your Order
After you add an item or items to your order, you will jump to the Review
Order screen. From here you can delete items from your order, change the
quantity of items in your order, conduct a new part number search to add
more items to your order or cancel your order entirely. If you update
your order (by deleting items or changing quantities) you must click the
Update Order button to ensure that those changes are recorded. The reset
button will return any modifications you have made to their original state.
If you are satisfied with your order, click the Go to Checkout button.
Check Out
On the Check Out page, you must first verify your order. Then you must
enter your Purchase Order Number and Shipping Information. Please note:
the Shipping Information fields will contain the standard shipping information
that we have in our database. If you need to alter this information, simply
type over it. Be sure to indicate the carrier, shipping method and any
special shipping instructions in the fields provided. When you have filled
out the forms entirely, click the Send Order Now button. You will then
see the Order Request Acknowledgment screen which recaps your order information.

Log Out
To end your visit to the AAR Corp. General Aviation site, click on the Log
Out button in the top bar.
