Register
Placing an order with AAR Corp. using the e-commerce website is a simple
process. The first step is to register. This process involves filling
out a brief online form and agreeing to our Terms and Conditions. Once
you have completed this process, you will be assigned an AAR Corp. Military
& Government User Name and Password.
Log In
Enter your User Name and Password in the fields on the
AAR Corp. Military & Government home page and then click the "Log In
Now!" button. You are now logged in.
Search the Parts Database
After logging in, the next screen you will see is the Database Search
page. Set the desired product line from the drop-down list then enter
full or partial information in one of the search fields and press the
appropriate Search button.
Select Part(s)
Exact Part # Matches
The details for your requested part will be displayed on the next screen.
The information displayed includes:
- Part # - Manufacturer part number.
- NSN- National Stock Number.
- OEM - Original Equipment Manufacturer.
- Description - A brief description of the corresponding part. (Note:
some descriptions in the database may be inaccurate. Always check the
Part # and FSC for the part you are ordering.)
- Estimated Ship Date - Indicates the part shipping date based on an order placed today. The
date is estimated based on maximum component lead times. A field is provided for you to enter a requested shipping date.
Whether or not you request a sooner or later shipping date, you will be informed of target shipping dates.
- Unit Price - Indicates the sales price for the part.
- Order Qty. - This is where you enter the quantity that you would like to order.
- Requested Ship Date - Optional customer specified shipping date. Enter a preferred shipping
date if the estimated shipping date is either sooner or later than the actual shipping date desired.
- Comment - A customer specified comment field that can be used to specify any part options,
special handling or to convey any part specific instructions.
Near Matches
The search results screen also provides you with a listing of near matches
to your requested part number. These are located in the Summary of Near
Matches table on the lower portion of the page. To view more details for
any of these parts, click on the part number. The new part number will
now be featured in the Part Details table (top of page).
To start a new search, you may optionally change the product line selection and then use any search field at the top of the page.
To order any of the items in the Part Details table, type a quantity in the Order Quantity field. Then click the Add to Order button to make sure that the quantity is added to
your current order.
Review Your Order
After you add an item to your order, the order summary screen will subsequently be displayed. From here you can delete items from your order, change the quantity of items in
your order, conduct a new part search to add more items to your order or cancel your order entirely. If you update your order (by deleting items or changing quantities) you
must click the Update Order button to ensure that those changes are recorded. The reset button will return any modifications you have made to their original state. After
completing your order, click the Go to Checkout button.
Check Out
On the CheckOut page verify your order...
- Check parts and quantities.
- Are the part numbers correct?
- Are quantities ordered correct?
- Are any item comments required?
- Check Shipping Details.
- Is the shipping address complete?
- Is the ZIP/Postal Code correct?
- Are any special shipping instructions clear and complete?
- Verify Payment Information.
- Is your Purchase Order correct?
- Is the Credit Card Information correct?
- Is the correct order processing option selected? (IMPAC, DSCP or Small Business)
If you need to alter this information, simply type over it. Be sure to indicate shipping method and any
special shipping instructions in the fields provided. When you have filled out the form entirely, print this page and keep it
for your records and then click the Submit Order button.
Log Out
To end your visit to the AAR CORP. e-commerce website, click on the Log
Out button in the top bar.
